HSTC Partners with NASP to provide Confined Space Rescue Training
As part of our continual improvement philosophy. We recently partnered with NASP (National Association of Safety Professionals). With our owner (Martin) earning completing a certification course as a nationally recognized Permit-Required Confined Space Program Manager. This Internationally recognized certification allows us to review, and develop company and site specific confined space entry and rescue programs, adds another layer to our existing confined space entry program, and most importantly teach confined space rescue training. As an authorized trainer, we will be issuing future certifications provided through NASP. This was a very intensive high-energy course, taught in and out of the classroom, making multiple entries and rescue simulations on board the USS North Carolina. It was both an honor and a privilege to experience this memorial first-hand. Thank you to both NASP and the USS North Carolina for this amazing opportunity.
Internationally Accredited Canine & Feline (pet) CPR is now part of our curriculum
Through our partnership with Pet Emergency Education, we are now able to offer nationally and internationally accredited canine and feline CPR / First aid courses, with 2-year Certification. Bringing the same professionalism and care that we bring to our human classes, and making every pet in Central Arkansas, just a little bit safer :) Canine & Feline CPR / First Aid, teaches life-saving skills for treating wounds, transportation, common and sudden illnesses such as allergies, splinting, or choking, as well as CPR on different breed types. Canine & Feline CPR / First Aid for Professional Groomers, takes these concepts and applies them to emergencies that may be faced in grooming salons and similar establishments. Both of these courses are fully accredited and approved by several organizations, including the AAVSB.
